Connect systems and information

Organize important business information so people can find reliable records and pass work between teams without confusion. Decide where the current version of each record belongs, who is responsible for updating it, and which other systems need that information.

Use consistent names, categories, and entry rules, and correct missing, duplicated, or outdated records. Connect systems where doing so meaningfully reduces repeated entry or delays, then check that transferred information arrives accurately and completely.

For example, a confirmed order should carry the correct customer details into scheduling and billing. The aim is dependable information that supports coordinated work, useful reporting, and sound decisions.
