CONSTRAINTS
Improve current constraint performance
Once you understand the constraint, help it produce better results with the resources already available. Give it clear priorities, ensure that necessary information and materials are ready, and remove avoidable waiting, interruptions, errors, and unnecessary steps.
Move supporting tasks to other people or processes when that frees the limited resource for work that directly serves the business goal. For example, a skilled employee may contribute more when someone else handles routine administration.
Involve the people doing the work because they can help explain what slows it down and suggest practical changes. Aim to improve useful output while maintaining quality, reliability, and a sustainable workload.
