CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS

Resolve problems with ownership

Give customers a straightforward way to raise concerns, and listen carefully to understand what happened and how they would like it resolved. Acknowledge the issue, investigate the relevant facts, and make clear who will coordinate the response.

Equip employees to resolve routine problems and explain how more difficult cases will reach someone with authority to help. Discuss a fair remedy, set realistic next steps and timing, and keep the customer informed while action is underway.

Follow through on the agreed response, explain the outcome, and check that any promised correction has worked. Record the issue so recurring problems can inform later improvements.
