INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION

Communicate clearly and promptly

Make each message easy to understand and useful to its audience. Explain what is happening, why it matters, and what the recipient needs to do, using language that fits their knowledge of the situation.

Choose timing and channels according to urgency and consequences: an urgent problem may need a call, while a routine update may belong in a shared record. Tell affected people about important changes early enough for them to respond.

Be honest about what is known, what remains uncertain, and when more information will follow. Keep routine communication predictable so people can stay informed without constant interruptions.
