OPERATIONS & DELIVERY

Measure and improve performance

Choose a small set of measures that show whether operations are delivering the promised results, such as on-time completion, errors, rework, completion time, cost, and unfinished work. Compare performance with your commitments, and use employee observations and customer feedback to understand what the numbers mean.

Investigate recurring problems and focus improvements on their underlying causes, especially where one stage limits overall delivery. Make practical changes, check their effect, and confirm that gains in one area have not created delays, costs, or quality problems elsewhere.

Keep methods that work, update the relevant processes, and repeat the review as demand and conditions change.
