PEOPLE

Lead with consistent integrity

Set the standard for how people should behave through your own everyday actions. Treat employees with respect, keep your commitments, and use fair, understandable principles when making decisions.

Explain decisions that affect people, especially when priorities change or you cannot meet an earlier expectation. Admit mistakes and take responsibility for correcting problems your own actions create.

Apply the standards you ask others to follow, including how you communicate, manage pressure, and respond to criticism. Consider how your choices affect the people doing the work, and invite feedback about your leadership.

Follow through on useful feedback so the values you communicate are reflected in how you actually run the business.
