Fulfill promises consistently

Define what successful delivery looks like, including the agreed scope, quality, timing, and relevant safety or other requirements. Then make sure your people, processes, suppliers, equipment, and capacity can consistently meet those expectations.

Use clear instructions, training, and appropriate checks to catch problems before they reach the customer. Monitor supplier performance as well as your own work, particularly when you resell products or rely on outside providers.

Match commitments to what you can reliably supply or complete. When delivery falls short, communicate promptly, coordinate a practical resolution, and address the underlying cause to reduce the chance of it happening again.
