RISK & RESILIENCE
Build reserves and alternatives
Give the business room to absorb disruption by maintaining resources that can actually be used when needed. Estimate how reduced income or unexpected expenses could affect cash, and maintain suitable reserves or dependable access to funding.
Protect important information with recoverable backups, preserve essential knowledge, and arrange coverage for key responsibilities. Where justified, identify alternative suppliers, equipment, work locations, or ways to serve customers.
Check that these alternatives can do the required work and would remain available during the same disruption. Balance preparation costs against the losses you are protecting against, concentrating resources on the dependencies that matter most.
