O(1) Solutions
Privacy notice.
How O(1) Solutions handles website inquiries, award applications and website usage information. Updated October 24, 2026.
Who to contact.
O(1) Solutions LLC, 132 Lyons Street, New Britain, CT 06052, is responsible for the business information described here. For privacy questions or requests, email jim.peterson@o1solutions.us or call 860-372-2407.
Information you choose to provide.
When you contact Jim by email, call or text, O(1) Solutions receives the information you share, such as your name, business, contact details and the reason you are getting in touch.
General inquiries
The general inquiry form sends names, inquiry reasons, contact preferences, and supplied email addresses or phone numbers to the website. These details are stored in a Neon database so Jim can review and respond. Resend sends Jim a generic new-inquiry notification; that notification does not include the visitor's name, contact details or inquiry text.
Award applications
The award application form submits your information directly to the website. Application details, answers, acknowledgements and the original application record are stored in a Neon database so Jim can review the application and administer the award. A confirmation with an application reference appears after the application has been stored. Receipt does not confirm eligibility, an observation booking or an award.
Resend sends Jim a generic new-application notification. The notification does not include your name, contact details or application answers. You can alternatively apply by direct email; O(1) Solutions receives that application when the email reaches the business mailbox.
The application requires your name, phone number, business name, role or authority, business city and state, four business answers and acknowledgements about age, authority, rules and privacy. An email address in the form is optional. You can also choose to request a free observation. Requesting or booking an observation is not required to apply, and the optional request does not change how your application is judged.
Do not include Social Security numbers, bank account details, passwords or sensitive business or personal records. Any tax information required from a selected business is requested securely after selection, not through the application.
Website usage and hosting.
The website uses Vercel hosting and Vercel Web Analytics. Analytics provides aggregate information about visits, including pages viewed, referring websites, device or browser type and approximate geography, to help understand and improve the site.
Vercel describes its Web Analytics as using aggregated statistics and a temporary request-derived identifier rather than third-party analytics cookies. Hosting also processes technical request information to deliver the website and maintain its operation. See Vercel's Web Analytics privacy documentation for how the analytics service processes data.
How information is used.
- Respond to an inquiry and arrange a conversation or observation when requested.
- Review award applications, verify eligibility, keep judging records, contact applicants and administer the selected project.
- Prepare requested proposals or provide agreed services.
- Operate, maintain and improve the website, keep necessary business records and meet legal obligations.
Submitting an inquiry or application does not automatically provide consent to unrelated marketing. Any optional marketing consent is separate and is not a condition of eligibility or receiving the free prize.
Services that help process information.
Information is processed through services needed to host the site, store inquiries and deliver communications. The website uses Vercel for hosting and analytics, Neon for submitted inquiry and application records and Resend for generic inquiry and application alerts. Email sent directly to Jim also passes through the sender's chosen email service and the business's email service.
Information may also need to be provided to professional advisers or authorities where needed to administer the business or meet a legal obligation.
Keeping and protecting records.
Inquiry, correspondence, application, judging and service records are retained for as long as reasonably needed for the relevant communication, award administration, service, business records or legal obligations.
Only share what is needed for the inquiry or application. Ordinary email should not be used to send tax identifiers, passwords or confidential records. If more sensitive information is needed later, arrange an appropriate method with Jim first.
Your choices and requests.
You can choose whether to submit an inquiry or award application through the website or send a direct email. Contact jim.peterson@o1solutions.us to ask about information O(1) Solutions holds about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Requests will be considered under the law that applies and any recordkeeping obligations; the same rights do not necessarily apply to every visitor.
Contacting Jim to ask a privacy question does not enter you in an award. See the Official Rules for the application requirements.
